On Friday 22nd November 2019, we had a History Curriculum Day in school. The focus was on continuity and change through British history, with the children investigating aspects like food and housing.

Each class focused on a different period in British history: Class 1 went back to the Stone Age; Class 2 to the Victorian era; Class 3 went back to the Iron Age; and Class 4 looked at the Tudors. 

Many children dressed up in clothing from them historical period and they all took on practical activities throughout the day to engage with their topics.

At the end of the day, the children all gathered together for a special assembly where each class shared what they had learned.
